Chest Pain

Chest pain, tightness or discomfort - whether on exertion or at rest - should never be ignored. A consultation will help establish whether your heart is the cause and what investigations, if any, are needed.

Breathlessness

Becoming short of breath more easily than you used to, on exercise or when lying flat, can be an early sign of a heart condition. A careful assessment can identify the cause and guide treatment.

Episodes of Fainting

Blackouts or near-fainting episodes can sometimes be caused by heart rhythm or valve problems. A specialist review will determine whether your heart is responsible and whether further monitoring is required.

Heart Murmur

Palpitations

Dizziness

Recurrent light-headedness or unsteadiness can have a cardiac cause, such as a rhythm disturbance or a fall in blood pressure.

Abnormal ECG
